How To Make A Security Dongle

Artissima 17

Great news for the next edition of Artissima 17, the first directed by Francis Manacorda.

The Fair will take place in a spectacular new home: the Oval, a marquee from the original architectural style, built during the Olympic Winter Games Torino 2006. The OVAL, always placed in the Lingotto Fiere, with its 20,000 sqm naturally lit with over 15,000 square feet of continuous glass walls is the ideal venue to host an exhibition of international contemporary art.

the Oval - and this is the second important change - the program will also host cultural events and numerous Artissima 17. The draft provides for Francis Manacorda the merger this year in one place all the elements that make up the complex event in a relationship of dialogue and complementarity with the Fair.

Artissima propose partition in the traditional sections: the Main Section, which collects more galleries representing the global art scene, Present Future, dedicated to emerging artists and their galleries at the invitation of a Committee directed curatorial NEW ENTRIES and international, reserved for more interesting young galleries, with less than five years, present for the first time in Turin, and the novelty of the 2010, BACK TO THE FUTURE. Caught between the level of museum exhibition and trade fair participation, the section will see an area dedicated to some art galleries, selected by a Scientific Committee, based on a design for a solo exhibition of an artist, Italian or international focus between the years of the '60s and '70s, with incumbents. An opportunity to raise awareness of some of the great innovators of modern art of language but of the total current in an environment dedicated to testing the newest the contemporary. The Scientific Committee is composed of: Christine Macel, Curator Centre Pompidou, Paris, Jessica Morgan, Curator of Contemporary Art, Tate Modern, London; Massimiliano Gioni, Director of Special Projects New Museum of Contemporary Art, New York, and Artistic Director Fondazione Nicola Trussardi, Milan.

Poetry in the form of pink is the title, inspired by Pier Paolo Pasolini, the cultural calendar of Artissima 17, based on the theme of "trespassing". Through the involvement of artists who express themselves in other creative disciplines such as architecture, design, literature, film and dance, Artissima aims to investigate this border area and trends e ricerche sperimentali in atto.

Among the sections in the program there will be: All the Rest is Literature, a literary salon designed by Vincenzo Latronico, The Dancers, a dance program curated by Anthony Huberman, Thinking Through Cinema [Deep Red], a series of re-interpretations of the same cult movie edited by Benjamin Cook and Mike Sperlinger; Super-Mayors a series of interviews with the mayors of big cities such as urban designer and cultural led by Joseph Grima and Pedro Reyes, Typography, a typeface and exhibition project that fits into the whole Fair Dexter Sinister and Pickpocket Almanack, a university and imagined traveling organized by Joe del Pesco and Dominic Willsdon.

Finally, again among the new features of Artissima 17, the catalog: a address book contains practical information and references of the galleries will be accompanied by a catalog to be built entirely at the Fair: "do-it-yourself", a scrapbook to be filled with cards and information materials produced by galleries and curators events. The public will thus, at the end of Artissima 17, its catalog custom tailored to your preference and interests.

Also in early October Artissima publish a great magazine full of pictures, with all the advances on the Fair and its participants, texts of the curators of the various sections and projects and critical essays that will be distributed at international level and sent to a mailing list targeted to collectors and journalists.
